SENA SHIP DESIGN carried out the concept, Tender, Contract and basic design and Approval in Principal (AiP) design of the 24m CREW & SUPPLY BOAT GLADIATOR. This vessel was ordered by the GLADIATOR MARINE COMPANY in 2020. It was built at Suez Fishing Boats SHIPYARD in Egypt and delivered in 2021.
This design has been developed completely in-house, by the highly trained and experienced staff of naval architects, marine engineers and designers at SENA SHIP DESIGN, who place the utmost importance on safety, efficiency and design ingenuity.
The Crew & Supply Boat GLADIATOR is designed with the operational efficiency of a modern offshore support vessels combined with state-of-the-art and Challenges for offshore operations capability for the client (GLADIATOR MARINE COMPANY) – Egypt. She meets the highest technical and environmental standards and has been optimized for both 12 kn and 14 kn service speed.
We provided the Full Design Package and Supervision for Crew & Supply Vessel “GLADIATOR”, The Concept and Tender Design was developed, in close cooperation with Owner, from scratch into arrangement drawings, specification, stability calculations, structure drawings, machinery diagrams, CFD optimization etc. accordance to B.V. requirements and applicable IMO regulations, to be suitable for required investment and the feasibility of the intended vessel concept.
And we further developed the Basic Design which transforms the vessel concept into a technically sound and safe to build vessel design for class approval by developing scantlings and stability calculations, system P&IDs and structural drawings.
Also we provided build supervision on behalf of the Client, for quality and schedule controls to prevent from poor quality work and/or delays from shipyard.
We developed the concept design for the ship owner in order to check the required investment and the feasibility of the intended vessel concept.
We further developed the concept design to a level that enables shipyard to calculate a price of building the vessel..that it's depends on the content of project.
We provided basic design documentation in order to achieve approvals from the classification society, flag state and other related authorities.
We provided the technical plans and documentation which are then submitted to the classification society BV for review and approval.
We provided build supervision on behalf of the Client, for quality and schedule controls to prevent from poor quality work and/or delays from shipyard.
We assisted shipowner in officially registering this vessel under a national flag (flag state). we handled the necessary documentation and compliance.
